Yes Scott, I’m sure everyone is aware .83 is on Thursday, it is even on the GMG event calendar. The fact is though, .83 rides are not the type of rides all cyclists care to attend. I hardly think you need to see another ride as competition, rather just another option for a way to get people on their bikes during the week. Two wheels one love.

Never underestimate the power of data in pushing the agenda of the bicycle forward. I don’t know who is paying for the counter to be on the Fremont Bridge, but they are equipping Seattle with powerful information that will support the argument that continued investment in bicycle centric infrastructure is wise.
