Lucas Brunelle- Line Of Sight

Lucas Brunelle has been on the forefront of urban bike race footage for a long time. If he were racing he’d be the man to beat, but he prefers to take second, filming a point of view few of us will ever get: that of what it’s like to win the toughest alleycat races in the world. Lucas is super friendly, passionate about cycling, and has been making films for a number of years. Line Of Sight has played at the Bicycle Film Festival and was definitely one of my favorites.

I feel this is his best work yet and I’m happy to see it release to DVD. We’ve been discussing doing a screening in Seattle. Is there interest in seeing this on the big screen?

Sweet! I missed this at the BFF and wanted to see it. I’d definitely be interested in a Seattle screening.

Yes Scott, I’m sure everyone is aware .83 is on Thursday, it is even on the GMG event calendar. The fact is though, .83 rides are not the type of rides all cyclists care to attend. I hardly think you need to see another ride as competition, rather just another option for a way to get people on their bikes during the week. Two wheels one love.

Never underestimate the power of data in pushing the agenda of the bicycle forward. I don’t know who is paying for the counter to be on the Fremont Bridge, but they are equipping Seattle with powerful information that will support the argument that continued investment in bicycle centric infrastructure is wise.
