Haven’t made enough mistakes at Belltown Underground yet this month? Well, you have at least one more shot! Friday night marks the welcoming party for this weekend’s Emerald City Open bike polo tournament. The party is open to everyone and starts with a fast paced “polocat” down the hill from TT Minor to the party. Of course you can also just show up at the end for the party. There will be more minibike disasters, dancing, raffles, a photo booth and beverages, so you should probably show up with your regret shoes on. You know, the ones that hose off easy.
I got back in town just after the 2011 WHBPC took place. Thankfully there are some highlights here for those of us that couldn’t make it. Congrats to the winners- as well as to the Seattle polo community for putting together what sounded like a ton of fun.
This is a nice short edit. How great it would be to have a polo court in Seattle where people could just hang out in the sun on the grass while polo is being played.
