Cyclepedia: Iconic Bicycle Design


If you have the chance this summer you should head on down to Portland and check out Cyclepedia: Iconic Bicycle Design an exhibit at the Portland Art Museum running from June 8th to September 8th.

From the collection of Vienna-based designer and bike aficionado Michael Embacher, this special exhibition features some 40 bicycles representing every decade from 1925 to the present, each chosen by Embacher as examples of pivotal moments in the evolution of bicycle design. The exhibition will include racing, mountain, single speed, touring, tandem, urban, folding, cargo, curiosities, and children’s bicycles. There will also be various events and programs taking place all summer long, check out the Cyclepedia Programs Calender for dates and more information.

PDW: Summer in Portland
